Swim Moulds

Swim moulds (also known as swim plugs) plugs are the perfect solution for swimmers, water sports enthusiasts (e.g. surfers, canoeists, kite surfers etc.). They are also suitable for bathing and showering. We can now custom make them with the addition of a filter which allows sound through whilst, at the same time, keeping the water out.

Our audiologist begins the process by taking an exact impression of your ear. This allows us to make a fully customised swim mould that fits your ear perfectly.

Our custom-fit swim plugs are constructed with a soft silicone which is what prevents the water from entering the outer ear.

For people who are in recovery from outer ear infections or who have had surgery for ‘surfer’s ear’ or grommet insertion, keeping the ear canals dry is really important in order to prevent more severe problems from developing.
